My Name is Nicola Paradis Berkowski and I am a warrior in the battle against beige. I fight with pillows!


MAXIMALIST & WHIMSICAL DECOR CREATOR!

Paradis Maison (www.paradismaison.com) was created as a reflection of my studies, work and lives in Sydney, London, Paris, Amsterdam, and now, Los Angeles. With a distinctive global edge, my pillow designs are an eccentric digital decoupage of photography, art and vintage ephemera. Having trained and worked as an architect & interior designer around the world, in practices that include Zaha Hadid Architects & UNStudio, I was inspired to launch my own design house. Influenced by the desire to feel at home as an ex-pat in foreign lands and my passion for eccentrically ornate interiors. I love to create dramatic "pillowscapes" by blending complementary colors with contrasting prints and design with mischievous, soulful abandon on days when I am joyful and inspired. That joy is reflected in each finished piece, transforming the client’s home into a happy paradise.
