Nicola Berkowski is a Warrior in the Battle Against Beige...

She Fights with Pillows!

Paradis Maison was created as a reflection of her studies, work and lives in Sydney, London, Paris, Amsterdam, and now, Los Angeles. Translating her global experiences and sensations into décor & accessories. With a distinctive international edge, her pillow designs are an eccentric digital decoupage of photography, art and vintage ephemera.

Having trained and worked as an architect & interior designer around the world, in practices that include Zaha Hadid Architects & UNStudio, she was inspired to launch her own design house. Influenced by the desire to feel at home as an ex-pat in foreign lands and her passion for eccentrically ornate interiors. 

Nicola loves to create dramatic "pillowscapes"; she is renowned for blending complementary colors with unexpected contrasting & exuberant prints. Designing with mischievous, soulful abandon & creating decor that she wished she herself could find in a store. Nicola's passion & romantic spirit is reflected in each finished piece, transforming her clients' homes & work spaces into their own happy paradise.

Nicola's greatest joys stem from the process of creation & the love she has for making her customers happy!

Her long term vision for Paradis Maison is to become a full service interior design practice.
